Planning Studies

Nova’s approach to master planning includes utilizing engineers, planners, and financial analysts to develop a useful planning tool to assist in meeting future needs. Master plans are working documents that need to be updated on a frequent basis – as changes in growth and regulations frequently occur and dictate the needs of a utility. Master plans encompass a review and discussion of service area demographics, water resources, stormwater flows, service area growth, completed and expected capital improvements and relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
