AVAILABLE POSITION: Senior Project Engineer

OPENING DATE: 11/13/2017            CLOSING DATE: Continuous

LOCATION: Miami, FL (Doral)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: As a Senior Project Engineer you will be responsible for managing key projects in a timely, accurate, and cost-effective manner. It is essential for this candidate participate in developing develops opportunities, networks and establishes client relationships, and provides strategic thinking for future business development pursuits in accordance with the company strategy. Daily responsibilities include:

  • Manage multiple projects and coordinate teams
  • Quality Assurance by following best practices and techniques, providing staff direction and guidance
  • Participate in project proposals, lead development and networking opportunities
  • May have supervisory responsibilities for group members and support staff including hiring, promoting, terminations, performance reviews, and training

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A four-year degree in civil or environmental engineering is required
  • Florida PE license is preferred
  • Experience level is a minimum of 5+ years
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate motorized vehicles
  • Project management experience is required
  • Progressive experience with dewatering system design, dewatering system construction management, transportation, resiliency or similar design experience
  • Experience with south Florida municipalities is preferred
  • Progressive experience in Water Resources, Utilities, and/or Coastal Infrastructure projects is preferred
  • Extensive technical experience in the engineering field
  • Experience in any or all the following areas: piping and conveyance systems, pump and lift stations, treatment facilities, storm drainage conveyance, shoreline stabilization, waterfront development projects and other municipal and industrial water and wastewater projects, resiliency, value engineering
  • Experience with increasing levels of project and client management responsibility

Staff Engineer

OPENING DATE: 8/26/2017              CLOSING DATE: Continuous

LOCATION: Miami, FL (Doral)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: As a Staff Engineer you will be responsible for participating in key projects in a timely, accurate, and cost-effective manner. It is essential for this candidate participate in developing trust with clients, assisting Project Managers with daily work tasks, and delivers consistently high quality contributions towards projects. Daily responsibilities include:

  • Assisting and reporting to Project Managers and assisting company Directors
  • Quality Assurance by following best practices
  • General engineering assignments including but not limited to engineering evaluations and studies, field inspection and evaluation of sites, sampling, collection, review and evaluation of data, preparation of reports
  • Work assignments in connection to engineering and environmental projects, engineering design and calculations, and computer data entry
  • Participate in project proposals, lead development and networking opportunities

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A four-year degree in civil or environmental engineering is required
  • Experience level is a minimum of 1+ years
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate motorized vehicles
  • Prior experience and interest in dewatering system design, dewatering system construction management, infrastructure, transportation or similar design experience
  • Prior experience in Water Resources, Utilities, and/or Coastal Infrastructure projects
  • Working technical experience in the engineering field is preferred
  • Experience in any or all the following areas: piping and conveyance systems, pump and lift stations, treatment facilities, storm drainage conveyance, shoreline stabilization, waterfront development projects and other municipal and industrial water and wastewater projects, resiliency, value engineering
