Airport Expansion & Capital Improvement Program

The Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport serves over 23 million passengers annually, through the Airport Expansion Program (AEP) and Capital Improvement Program (CIP) the airport is expanding its terminals and runways to enhance its capacity. Nova is actively participating in both the Airport-Expansion Program (AEP) and Capital Improvement Program (CIP). Through the AEP, Nova is providing Program Management services associated with planning, design, and construction activities for projects pertaining to water and wastewater system upgrades. As part of the CIP, Nova is providing hydraulic modeling services which include the development of a computer model in InfoSWMM, and performing I/I and RDII analysis and simulations of several scenarios for the airport’s eleven pump stations.
Scotchtown Avenue Bridge
Orange County, NY
This $5 million project is part of the county’s effort to rehabilitate or replace its 150 bridges. The objective is to provide a full replacement and substructure elements to the Scotchtown Avenue Bridge, which was originally constructed in 1983. Nova is developing the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan to identify potential sources of stormwater pollution, describing stormwater control measures and Best Management Practices that will be used to reduce/eliminate pollutants in stormwater discharges from the project site and identifying site-specific permitting requirements.
